COVID-19: Information for Attending Court - Monday 11 January 2021


The New South Wales Bar Association’s consolidated guide to COVID-19-related court arrangements has today again been updated in terms of recent developments, and includes:

• An update from the Land and Environment Court on Fitted Face Coverings (Masks) for Users of the Court

• A memorandum from the Chief Magistrate in relation to Mask Wearing in Local Courts within the Greater Sydney Region

• A further amendment by the Children’s Court to the Public Notice of Response to COVID-19 Pandemic number 7

• A new Public Notice 8 issued by the Children’s Court regarding Fitted Face Coverings (Face Masks)

Information on temporary changes to NCAT’s operations

• An update by the NSW Industrial Relations Commission in relation to Fitted Face Coverings (Masks)

• A Notice by the Family Court and Federal Circuit Court regarding COVID-19 precautionary measures for Sydney, Parramatta, Wollongong and Brisbane –online and telephone services only

Updated information from the AAT regarding the operation of its Brisbane registry
