The following members of the Bar Association received Australia Day Honours in the Order of Australia:
Brian Rayment QC was made an officer of the Order of Australia (OAM)in the General Division for service to the law.
Dr James Renwick SC RANR was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross (CSC) for outstanding devotion to duty as a legal officer in the Royal Australian Naval Reserve.
