2022 New Barristers Committee Judicial Q & A

The New Barristers’ Committee will again host the Judicial Q&A panel on Tuesday, 1 November 2022, at 5.30 pm. This year, the panel will include the Hon Justice Angus Stewart of the Federal Court of Australia, the Hon Justice Elisabeth Peden of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and his Honour Judge Peter McGrath SC of the District Court of New South Wales.

The Q&A panel discussion is designed to allow junior barristers (particularly those under 6 years) to pose questions to judges from the Federal Court, Supreme Court and District Court with a view to assisting new barristers in their court craft, advocacy and practice in those courts. Barristers over 6 years are also most welcome to attend.

Questions for the panel can be submitted at the time of registration or sent by email to ahammond@sixthfloor.com.au. Please ensure you register and submit your questions by Friday, 28 October 2022. All questions will be anonymised.
