Pathway to Taking Silk

The Women’s Barristers Forum will present an online CPD on the topic of ‘Pathway to Taking Silk’ at 5.15pm on Thursday 7 April 2022. Gail Furness SC, Melissa Gillies SC, and Anne Horvath SC will be panellists. Naomi Sharp SC, the President of Women’s Barristers Forum, will act as Chair. Furness SC is a former member of the Senior Counsel Selection Committee. This seminar is open to all barristers at any level. It should be of particular interest to barristers who consider that they may apply for silk in 2-3 years’ time. Panellists will share their views on how to shape one's practice in the years leading up to a silk application, and be available to answer questions.
