Advocacy Tips and Tricks for appearing in Inquests and Inquiries

This facilitated panel discussion is targeted towards assisting barristers who are undertaking advocacy in inquisitorial jurisdictions (ie coronial inquests, royal commissions, special commissions of inquiry) develop their skills. Areas to be canvassed include the role and function of counsel assisting, key considerations for representing interested parties, and tips for persuasive advocacy and otherwise (aka – what not to do!).
