Cross Examination with Senior Counsel PART 1
In the first of a two-part CPD, the New Barristers’ Committee presents an online panel discussion from three of the most experienced Senior Counsel at the NSW Bar on one of the most difficult yet interesting areas of practice: Cross-Examination.
Specifically, this seminar will provide useful information and insight on how new barristers may approach a particular cross-examination depending on factors such as the jurisdiction, the individual witness and the importance of the evidence being adduced.
The three presenters are:
• Sue Chrysanthou SC, 153 Phillip Barristers;
• Sharyn Hall SC, Samuel Griffith Chambers; and
• Rashelle Seiden SC, Ground Floor Wentworth Chambers.
This CPD is aimed at Barristers in their first 5 years of practice but is open to Barristers post 5 years.
Please note, this zoom presentation will be followed with an in-person workshop to take place at Banco Court on 25 July between 5:00pm-6:30pm. Don’t miss the sequel for this special cross exam workshop where you will get hands on experience and coaching from three eminent silks and feedback from the judiciary! Registration for part 1 does not include registration for part 2.
