Please join the Human Rights Committee for a discussion of topical legal and strategic issues arising in public interest litigation. Our speakers – Craig Lenehan SC, Rebecca Gilsenan and Eleanor Jones – are experienced practitioners across different fields, from class actions to administrative and constitutional law, and will address topics such as standing to bring claims, forum for litigation, representative proceedings, and appearing on a pro bono basis. Justice Angus Stewart of the Federal Court will kindly chair the seminar and facilitate questions from the audience.
