How I (Finally) Overcame Perfectionism And Ditched Anxiety: Breaking Badly Author Georgie Dent in conversation Kate Richardson SC and Claire Palmer
Tuesday 27 October at 1.00pm
At this webinar, Georgie Dent will join Kate Richardson SC and Claire Palmer in conversation about perfectionism, anxiety and the law. Georgie is a journalist, author, and prominent advocate for women’s empowerment, gender equality and mental health. Her best-selling memoir, Breaking Badly, was published by Affirm Press in May 2019 to critical acclaim. It documents Georgie’s decline towards the total breakdown that saw her admitted to a psychiatric hospital at age 24, as well as her recovery. The book, described as ‘brutally honest and warmly engaging’, covers chronic illness, mental health and the toxic pursuit of perfectionism. Annabel Crabb described it as ‘funny, shocking, beautifully written … a fascinating account of one woman’s hand-to-hand combat with her own mind.’
Panellists:
- Georgie Dent, Journalist, Editor, and Author of Breaking Badly
