Obtaining instructions from clients with vulnerabilities
Wednesday, 2 November 2022
People with vulnerabilities, including disability, trauma, or age-related vulnerabilities, frequently require legal assistance. It is a critical part of a barrister’s role to obtain instructions from a client, both in order to understand what their needs and objectives are, and also to prepare their evidence for Court.
Join Matthew Cobb-Clark, Acting Deputy Director of Prosecutions Michelle England, Rodney Lewis of Elderlaw and Sharmilla Bargon of the Redfern Legal Centre for an engaging online roundtable discussion on this important topic.
If you wish to submit questions in advance for the panel, please feel free to email mcobbclark@level22.com.au
