Practical issues in oppression cases

The Commercial Law Section is pleased to host a CPD seminar presented by Michael Hodge KC and Jonathan Burnett, and chaired by Vanessa Whittaker SC, for a seminar on Wednesday 15 March, at 5pm.

Our speakers will share their experiences and tips on practical issues that arise in oppression cases including:

  • The buyout remedy – litigation strategy for valuation date, adjustments and the possibility of a reverse buyout order
  • Remedies other than a buyout
  • Oppression in trading trusts and when the company becomes insolvent
  • The role of the company in proceedings.
