Recent Decisions under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW)

After 20 years the application of the Civil Liability Act continues to evolve. Words and phrases from the common law have taken on a significance that has proved a challenge for all, from practitioners to Appellate Judges.

This session will review the current state of the law in NSW with specific reference to the words and phrases most recently considered by the Court of Appeal and High Court.
