Setting Aside Statutory Demands: Offence and Defence
THURSDAY, 15 April 2021
The time frames are short and the room for error, slim. With the expected increase in insolvency this year as COVID measures are wound back, barristers may be called on at short notice to assist in setting aside a statutory demand, or defending such an application. This seminar is aimed at under 7’s who may have relatively little experience in these applications. It is designed to provide them with the tools and confidence to be able to accept briefs in this area and avoid the common pitfalls.
Panel:
- The Hon Justice Kate Williams
- Christopher Wood SC
- Karen Petch
Chair:
- Tom Brennan SC
This seminar has been organised by the NSW Bar Association’s Practice Development Committee.
