The Dispute Resolution Pathways of the NSW Personal Injury Commission

The Personal Injury Commission was established on 1 March 2021 as an independent statutory tribunal providing dispute resolution services for people injured in motor accidents and workplaces in NSW, insurers and employers.
The Bar ADR Committee is delighted to host a CPD on The Dispute Resolution Pathways of the Personal Injury Commission. President of the Commission, the Hon Judge Gerard Phillips, will outline the Commission’s various dispute resolution pathways, which include conciliation, arbitration, mediation, medical assessments, expedited assessments, appeal and review proceedings.
Mr John Fernon SC will chair a panel Q & A session, with Judge Phillips, Senior Member Elizabeth Beilby and Mediator Philippa O’Dea.
