Toxicology – Illicit substances and Testing with a focus on Medicinal Cannabis

Chaired by Dr Martha Barnett SC, Dr Michelle Williams, Principal Toxicologist, will be speaking about drug and alcohol testing and the interpretation of results. Her talk will cover the various tests for illicit substances and alcohol available in NSW, recent improvements in testing, tips and tricks in interpreting results and indicators that that further testing may be required. Although the presentation will cover a wide variety of illicit substances there will be a focus on the impact of medicinal cannabis use on testing.
