Welcome to the Bar – What I wish I knew

The New South Wales Bar Association’s New Barristers Committee is facilitating a CPD panel discussion on Tuesday, 11 October 2022 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm entitled, ‘Welcome to the Bar: What I wish I knew’.  The session will be hosted by Elly Phelan and will feature a panel of three recent former readers, Alison Hammond, David Townsend and Eric Vuu who will share their advice and insights.

The session is targeted to the newest members of the profession and will give you an opportunity to hear unfiltered advice, tips - and perhaps some amusing anecdotes - aimed at making both the transition to the Bar and navigating your first year of practice, easier.  There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the panel in advance and during the session using the chat function.
