On 1 March 2020 the Independent Tribunal into Forced Organ Harvesting from Prisoners of Conscience China (China Tribunal) delivered its judgment. The members of the China Tribunal were asked to consider evidence regarding forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China and to determine whether international crimes have been, and continue to be, committed. The Tribunal was chaired by Sir Geoffrey Nice, QC.
