COVID-19

The Chief Judge of the District Court has today issued a note regarding procedural changes in response to concerns about the spread of coronavirus, commencing Wednesday 18 March 2020. This follows the Supreme Court’s announcement yesterday regarding changes to sitting procedures to minimise the spread of coronavirus. In addition the Department of Communities and Justice has released general advice regarding attendance at NSW courts and tribunals.

A variety of coronavirus resources are available for members on the member dashboard section of the Association’s website here, which includes information regarding advice about attendance at Bar Association CPDs and CPD online, preventative measures in the workplace, general health guidelines and information regarding courts and tribunals, including relevant links. The resources will be updated on a regular basis.
