COVID-19: CPD Online

As part of the Bar Association's ongoing effort to ensure that members are supported to meet their continuing professional development (CPD) obligations, we are proud to announce that improvements have been made to the association’s online streaming service, CPD Online. The new and improved CPD Online is easier to navigate with improved functionality and search options. In addition, CPD Online will now log your activities in one convenient online record. A members record will be available on the 'My CPD Profile' page found on the dropdown list in the top right-hand corner. Practitioners can add activities they attended in person and export their log for auditing purposes.

To access the NEW CPD Online portal please sign in to the members’ dashboard using your existing username and password. If you have misplaced your CPD Online login and password details you are able to reset your details by clicking on 'member sign in' which appears in the top right-hand corner of the screen on our homepage. You then click on 'unknown password or username', this will then prompt you to add your surname and date of birth. This will trigger an email to be sent to you with your new details. The email will be sent to the registered email address on our records.

To further assist our members, the Association has prepared a ‘companion guide’ information packet with links to a small sample of recent online CPD sessions. Many, many more sessions are available on the portal.

CPD Online is available to all members and the Association encourages practitioners to make use of this resource to meet their CPD obligations prior to the CPD year ending 31 March 2020. For any questions about CPD requirements, please contact the Professional Development Department at cpd@nswbar.asn.au.
