Federal Court of Australia: Pro bono assistance sought for migration detainees

The New South Wales Bar Association is calling for Counsel who can receive a pro bono referral from the Federal Court to advise and assist migrant applicants and appellants in detention. Expressions of interest are invited from Counsel of all levels of seniority - experience in migration law or administrative law is not necessary. This is a great opportunity to “team up” with appropriately experienced Counsel working in migration law, whether silk or junior and gain new experience.
