Law Council of Australia Media Statement - High Court decision highlights ongoing vulnerability

The Law Council of Australia has today issued a media release in relation to the High Court's decision regarding the Australian Federal Police raid on News Corporation journalist Annika Smethurst.

The President of the Law Council Ms Pauline Wright has said that while the raid was found to be unlawful by the High Court, the judgment highlights the Law Council’s continued concerns about the ongoing vulnerability of public interest journalism. Read the media release here
