Fees in advance – External Examiners’ Reports due by 7 June

Members are reminded that any barrister who received fees in advance in the period 1 April 2019 -31 March 2020 needs to submit a report from a suitably qualified External Examiner on the relevant form by 7 June 2020.

The person selected as an External Examiner must have completed a course approved by the Legal Services Council. The 2020 form is available on the Members Login section of the New South Wales Bar Association website under ‘Costs and Fees; Fees in Advance’.

As the NSWBA offices are currently closed, please ensure that completed forms are emailed to pcd@nswbar.asn.au

Members are advised that failure to provide the External Examiner’s report by 7 June 2020 may result in delays to the processing of practising certificate renewal.
