Bar FC defeated by old foes

The Domain Soccer League continued today with Bar FC losing 2-0 to Greenbridge Recruitment (the former Sydney Business School).

Stacked with gifted South American players Greenbridge Recruitment proved too strong on the day, even though Bar FC played at times attractive and competitive football. Down 2-0 at half time, Sir Alex reminded the team to use the width and start to play that Barcelona passing game he adores. With the ball at their feet, Bar FC were unlucky not to score and held the opposition in the second half. The team put in a full shift however defenders Larish and Munro deserve special mention for their organisation at the back. Bar FC also wishes to thank Daniel Lo Surdo (Lo Surdo SC’s son) for his efforts on the pitch today.
