Attorney General's media release - national defamation reforms

The NSW Attorney General the Hon Mark Speakman SC MP has announced that the Council of Attorneys-General today agreed to NSW-led reforms to overhaul defamation laws across Australia.

The proposed reforms from the Council of Attorneys General's Defamation Working Party have followed a wide-ranging consultation process.
