Bar FC valiant in 5-1 defeat

Bar FC continued its efforts in Division 1 in the Domain Soccer League, losing against BNP Paribas 5-1. The Bankers had us for ages however a number of stand out performances remained. Danielle Woods was declared the gaffers player of the game, embracing the left back position and turning defence into attack on a number of occasions. Solid performances were also to be seen from Munro, Philips, Griscti, O’Shea and Compton.

Great lead up play caused pressure on the Bankers defence with Morrison there to pounce and put the ball away to take the lead in this year's golden boot race. The Patchildhino award was awarded to Goalkeeper Harris who seemed to walk beside a ball which trickled into his net. Out of character but certainly a worthy winner.
