Media reports overnight have indicated that a security contractor working at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th August has tested positive to COVID-19.

The Association has this morning been in contact with the Chief Magistrate's office, which has advised that the contractor who has tested positive had little contact with people attending the Court on those days.

However, NSW Health has suggested that, as a precaution, anyone who was in attendance at Parramatta Local Court between 8:30am and 12:30pm on either Tuesday 11th August or Wednesday 12th August 2020 should watch for symptoms. Should even mild symptoms occur they must self-isolate and seek urgent testing for COVID-19.
