Hosted over two, two-hour sessions, participants will join barristers Lester Fernandez and Sean Docker to discuss the business of being a barrister; Paul Taylor and Charles Ackroyd from legal costing company Pattison Hardman to consider current billing and cost practices, and Adjunct Associate Professor Peter Dombkins from UNSW Law to examine the concept of legal project management. This two-part webinar is the first of four CPD events on the essentials of practice management at the Bar. The series, presented in conjunction with UNSW, aims to assist barristers in developing the business side of their practice. Developing and growing a sustainable practice throughout one's career is as important as developing as an advocate.
