The Hon Lancelot (Bill) John Priestley QC passed away on 23 December 2020.

Justice Priestley came to the Bar in 1956 joining 7 Wentworth Chambers. He took Silk in 1972 before being appointed Judge of the Court of Appeal in 1983. Upon retirement from the Court of Appeal he joined Frederick Jordan Chambers.

A commemoration of Bill's life will be held at 11am on 22 January 2021 at St Joseph's Church, 14 Lindsay Street, Neutral Bay.
