ILS International Law and Practice Course 2020/21 Lecture Six - tonight 5-6pm

The Law Council of Australia's ILS International Law and Practice Course 2020/21 Lecture Six - "From Treaty Practice to Trade Disputes" will be hosted online via Zoom tonight, Tuesday 16 February 2021 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm.

A core element of the international rules-based order, treaties are international agreements concluded between two or more States or international organisations, giving rise to international legal rights and obligations.

This evening's event features Tara Booth, Director of Trade Disputes Section - Team A in the Office of Trade and Investment Law, Paul Schofield, Director of the Investment and Services Law Section in the Trade and Investment Law Branch and Kate Smith, Director of DFAT’s International Law: Advising and Treaties Section. The session will be chaired by Mary Walker, the Chair of the Law Council of Australia's International Law Section.
