Federal Court of Australia - Ceremonial Welcome for Justice John Halley - Tuesday 20 April, 9.30am

The appointment of Justice John Halley as a Judge of the Federal Court of Australia takes effect from 19 March 2021.

To mark the occasion a ceremonial sitting of the Full Court of the Federal Court of Australia will be held at 9.30am on Tuesday, 20 April 2021 in Court 1, Level 21, Federal Court of Australia, Law Courts Building, Queens Square, Sydney. Michael McHugh SC will speak on behalf of the Australian and New South Wales Bar Associations.

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 restrictions on seating in the courtroom other members of the profession are unable to attend the court, however the ceremony will be live streamed and can be viewed here on the day.
