Domain Soccer League returns

Bar FC kicked off its 2021 season on Thursday 15 April in the Domain Soccer League. A bare eleven met an overstrength ACR Athletic and performed valiantly only for Bar FC to lose 1-0 when the final whistle sounded.

The core of the squad from 2020 turned up to play and defended brilliantly. As the gaffer looked on at the pre match warm up of the opposition, Bar FC were leisurely exchanging war stories under the shade of a tree, clearly conserving their effort for what lay ahead. The gaffer decided the best form of defence was to park the bus and that’s exactly what Bar FC did. It was however not all defence. Morrison played his usual role and kept the opposition honest by having two cracks at goal. Likewise, Oscar Clark showed some silky skills in midfield to create many an attacking opportunity. With great support from Andy Munro, Hartford Davis and Tsang in the midfield, Bar FC were a little unlucky not to steal a point from the match.
