2021 Council of Australasian Tribunals Conference
20/05/2021
The Council of Australasian Tribunals is delighted to announce that the former President of the United Kingdom Supreme Court, the Rt Hon the Baroness Hale of Richmond DBE, will deliver the keynote address at the Council of Australasian Tribunals (COAT) 2021 Conference.
The COAT national tribunals conference returns in 2021, with a different look and feel, interesting and relevant topics, and top-quality presenters.
The conference theme is responsive, resilient, reskilled – tribunals in times of change. This year’s conference is different because it will be delivered entirely online from venues around Australia and New Zealand.
It will take place on 10 and 11 June 2021 between 9:30am and 1:30pm AEST each day to maximise the opportunity for people from Perth to Auckland to participate.
The program will include plenary and workshop sessions, on broad themes and practical skills. It will cover topics including:
- decision writing
- tribunal leadership
- working smarter
- tribunal craft
