Secret trials need reform

President of the Law Council of Australia, Dr Jacoba Brasch QC has today issued a media release emphasising that trials involving national security need to strike a balance between secrecy and open justice, on the back of today's hearing before the Independent National Security Legislation Monitor (INSLM).
