Bar FC victorious against Factset Fundamentals FC

Bar FC came out today in one of its best open attacking performances of the season, with Tsang having three shots at goals within as many minutes, all of them narrowly missing. Hartford David then has two shots and just misses, followed up by Olson also narrowly missing a goal, before Coutinho at the eight minute mark scores the first goal for Bar FC, putting Bar FC ahead 1-0.

Strik, in his first time ever in goals, saves a certain goal for Bar FC. Bar FC are on the attack again and Munro does a great header from a cross kick from Hartford Davis, and narrowly misses out on scoring. Factset get the ball and shoot at goals, and despite Strik diving and getting a hand to it, the ball goes into the nets to level the score at 1-1.

Our backs with Larish, Connolly and Munro, co-ordinate well and keep Factset out for the rest of the first half. Just before half time, Coutinho scores again, and at half time it is 2-1 in favour of Bar FC.

Factset comes out strong in the second half and scores early, taking the score to 2-2. Our defensive line tightens up and Factset do not score again.

Just when it looks like Bar FC will have to make do with a draw, our mid field with Philips, Boyle, Hartford Davis and Coutinho combine to get the ball up to Speirs playing up front, who launches a great kick at goal that slams into the back of the net, winning the match for Bar FC in the last minute of the game. The final score is 3-2 in Bar FC’s favour. This places Bar FC in sixth position in the competition ladder.
