Mediation is practised in many countries, and is becoming more and more widespread in the United States, Europe, the Far East, India, and Australia. The practice of mediation is diverse, and there are literally hundreds of codes of ethics that have been developed and are applicable to mediators in the various jurisdictions.
With that in mind, and in the light of the Singapore Convention on Mediation and the expected growth of international commercial mediation practice, is it feasible to talk about a uniform code of ethics for mediators capable of earning the support of the international community of mediators? Dr Omer Shapira will address this question in the coming webinar.
