Reissue of Practice Note SC CCA 1 - General

The Chief Justice has today reissued Practice Note SC CCA 1 – Court of Criminal Appeal – General, with a commencement date of 22 July 2021.

The changes are:

• The correction of a numbering issue;

• Updating the definitions to:

• Ensure consistency in how the Court of Criminal Appeal is defined and referred to throughout the Practice Note;

• Include a definition of ‘Respondent’; and

• Cosmetic changes to the use of lower and upper case letters.
