Reminder: Senior Counsel Applications for 2021 now open

Senior Counsel 2021 - closes 5pm on Friday

Applicant's please note during remote working conditions it may take additional time to assist you, if you encounter problems submitting your application. It is important you do not leave uploading your application to the even the last few hours, let alone the last minute! Once the system closes at 5pm on Friday 30 July, we cannot reopen it again.

President Michael McHugh SC has invited applications for Senior Counsel for 2021. The principles governing the selection and appointment of those to be designated as senior counsel by the President of the Bar Association are contained in the Senior Counsel Selection Protocol and the Guide to Practical Aspects.

Applications must be submitted online, no later than 5.00pm on Friday, 30 July 2021. It is intended the names of successful applicants will be announced on or before the first Friday in October.
