Save the date: Child witness pre-record training (criminal)

The District Court of NSW, in collaboration with the NSW Bar Association, Law Society of NSW and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, is offering three fully-funded training sessions aimed at improving advocacy in pre-recorded evidence hearings for child witnesses. The training will be delivered by two District Court judges as well as a very experienced English judge, her Honour Judge Patricia Lees, the Honorary Recorder of Guildford Crown Court (UK). The training will be held on:

Saturday, 18 October 2025 – Lismore

Saturday, 25 October 2025 – Newcastle

Saturday, 1 November 2025 – Sydney
