Nominations for 2026 Bar Council Election open today

Nomination forms for election of the 2026 Bar Council were posted on Monday, 25 August 2025 and emailed today to all members of the Bar Association eligible to nominate or be nominated. Nomination forms must be scanned or photographed and submitted to the Returning Officer via email to elections@nswbar.asn.au by 4.00pm on Monday, 20 October 2025.

Any member who has not received their nomination form and who wishes to nominate should contact elections@nswbar.asn.au.

Nominations close at 4.00pm on Monday, 20 October 2025.
