Rosh Hashanah
23/09/2025

Rosh Hashanah, meaning ‘head of the year’, otherwise recognised as Jewish New Year, began at sundown yesterday and will end after nightfall tomorrow. A common greeting for those celebrating is 'Shana tova'.
It is one of the holiest days of the year for Jewish people around the world and marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days, a period of reflection, repentance and spiritual renewal that culminates in Yom Kippur, ten days later.
