Future-proofing your Chambers: the business case and some practical tools for building more diverse, equitable and inclusive Chambers.

This CPD session will explore keeping Chambers competitive in an evolving and increasingly complex environment. It will consider the business case for integrating diversity and inclusion as a competitive advantage including:
attracting and retaining the best readers and members
receiving briefs from law firms, government agencies and clients, in line with equitable briefing policies
reflecting and understanding the society the Bar represents
better decision-making and enhanced innovation and creativity.
The CPD presenters will be:
Hilbert Chiu SC, Tenth Floor Chambers, who will draw on his 15 years’ experience at the Bar in making the business case for diversity and inclusion
Greg Masters, Principal of Nexus Management Consulting and Annie Fenwicke, Principal of EDI at Work Consulting, who will provide practical tools on how diversity and inclusion can be integrated into strategic planning processes, policies and practices to future-proof Chambers.
The CPD is presented by the Diversity and Equality and Practice Development Committees.
