Call for Submissions: 2026 CPD Regional Conference Series

The NSW Bar Association is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2026 CPD Regional Conference Series, a premier opportunity for learning, networking, and professional development.

Whether you're a judicial officer, barrister, solicitor, academic, or other professional, we welcome your insights and expertise at one of our in-person conferences, or through our hybrid event in Sydney.

Here’s the in-person conference schedule:

• Saturday, 21 February – Newcastle @ Novotel Newcastle Beach

• Saturday, 28 February – North Coast @ Ballina RSL Club

• Saturday, 14 March – Orange @ Greenhouse of Orange

• Saturday, 21 March – Sydney @ Hyatt Regency Sydney (Limited in-person seats + live-streamed)

Who can submit?

We invite submissions from judicial officers, barristers, solicitors, academics, and other professionals who would like to present at the 2026 CPD Regional Conference Series.

Submission categories

Your abstract should align with one of the following CPD categories:

• Ethics & Professional Responsibility

• Practice Management & Business Skills

• Substantive Law, Practice & Procedure, Evidence

• Barristers' Skills

Key dates

• Submission deadline: Friday, 24 October 2025

• Conference registration opens: December 2025

• Notification of acceptance: By the end of November
