Seeking Volunteers - First Nations Pre-Law Student Visit to Bar Association - 5 December

The NSW Bar Association will host the annual visit from First Nations students attending the UNSW pre-law course on Thursday, 5 December 2024, commencing at 9 am in the Bar Association’s common room.

We are seeking volunteers to attend the morning discussion about life as a barrister (9 to 10:30 am) and then take the students back to Chambers (10:30 to 11:30 am). A visit to the Supreme Court starts at around 12.00 pm and then there is a lunch in the common room.

The objective is to demonstrate to the prospective law students the role of barristers and to encourage them to see the Bar as a future career option.

We need volunteers. Please come for an enjoyable morning and a rewarding exchange with some aspiring law students.
