World AIDS Day
02/12/2024

Diversity
Each year, on 1 December, World AIDS Day is commemorated globally. The purpose of World AIDS Day is to show support for those living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, raise awareness about prevention, treatment and care, eliminate stigma and discrimination, and remember people who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses.
This year, the UNAIDS theme for World AIDS Day is “Take the rights path”. The campaign continues the imagery of a path that leaders are urged to choose to address inequalities that hinder progress in ending AIDS. World AIDS Day is preceded by the release of this year’s World AIDS Day Report on 26 November 2024.
More information about World AIDS Day can be found on the UNAIDS website here.
