Scam email alert

We have been made aware of a scam email being sent to members, falsely claiming to be from the NSWBA Executive Director Andreas Heger (andreas@nswbar.org). The email invites recipients to renew their membership and sign a form using DocuSign.

Please be advised that this is not an official communication from the New South Wales Bar Association. The email is fraudulent, and we strongly recommend the following actions:

  1. Do Not Click on Any Links: Avoid clicking any links or downloading attachments in the email.

  2. Contact your IT Support if you have clicked on the links or opened the attachments

  3. Delete the Email: After reporting, delete the email from your inbox and trash folder.

  4. Report the scam: You can report the scam here

Our official membership renewal process will always be communicated directly through trusted channels and will not request signatures through DocuSign. Thank you to members who have alerted the Association so promptly.
