Michael Smith appointed to NSW District Court

Michael Smith has been appointed as a judge of the NSW District Court, commencing 16 December 2024. Mr Smith was called to the Bar in 2002 and has practiced predominantly in criminal law.

Members are invited to attend a ceremony at John Maddison Tower on Level 21 at 9:00am on Monday 16 December 2024. The ceremony will be followed by a morning tea in the function room of the District Court on Level 21.
