Zero Discrimination Day (UNAIDS)
28/02/2025

Diversity
Tomorrow is Zero Discrimination Day, observed each year on 1 March.
The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) founded Zero Discrimination Day in 2014. The Day is about promoting the rights of all people, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion or HIV status, to live with dignity and free from stigma.
UNAIDS has a vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths, and a principle of leaving no one behind.
This year’s theme, ‘We Stand Together’, highlights the importance of community autonomy, justice, dignity, and health equity.
You can read more about the initiative, and 2025’s call to action, on the UNAIDS website.
