Industrial Relations Commission seminar: Appearing in the Commission – The Basics

The Industrial Relations Commission is hosting a seminar on Wednesday, 26 March 2025 entitled 'Appearing in the Commission – The Basics', presented by Justice Chin, Vice President and Commissioner Webster.

Justice Chin and Commissioner Webster will talk about the fundamentals of appearing before the IRC as an advocate, focussing on the resolution of industrial disputes in conciliation. This seminar is tailored for industrial officers, solicitors and other less experienced advocates, and for those wishing to brush up on the basics. Come along for some tips on how to effectively appear before the Commissioners and Judges of the IRC.

The seminar will be held both in-person (with limited seating) in Court 4.1 of the Chief Secretary’s Building, 47 Bridge Street, Sydney and online.
