The New South Wales Bar Association has today released its 2023 Election Policy Statement. The policy calls on all political parties to implement key proposals which reflect the law reform priorities of the Bar Council in a number of crucial areas - court resourcing and appointments, First Nations justice, legal aid, criminal justice reforms, the coronial system, human rights, personal injury, climate change, family law and child protection, and alternative dispute resolution.
