Renewal of practising certificates

All barristers should now have received an email containing a link to renew their practising certificates using the same online system as previous years. The fees for practising certificates will be the same as this year. The Bar Association will continue to accept payment of practising certificate fees by credit card, BPAY and direct deposit, however after Friday, 23 June 2023 payment will only be able to be made by credit card. Applications for waiver of fees will be considered in accordance with the NSW Bar Association Fee Waiver Policy in this link.

All applications to renew must be received by Friday, 30 June 2023. Any applications received after Wednesday, 7 June 2023 will attract the statutory late fee.
