The Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination, also known as the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is held annually on 17 May.
To mark the occasion this year, Ms Sharyn Hall SC, the NSW Bar Association’s LGBTQI Advocate for Change, and Ms Stephene Tully of 6 St James’ Hall, will speak at 6.00pm on 17 May 2023 at University House located on the city campus of the University of Newcastle.
The panel will focus on being LGBTQIA+ in the legal profession and issues LGBTQIA+ clients have when accessing the legal system.
The event is co-organised by Pride in Law (NSW Chapter) to whom queries may be directed to here. All are welcome to attend.
